The South Australian College of Lactation Consultants Incorporated (SACLC) is an organisation

for Lactation Consultants and other health professionals committed to breastfeeding.

The college aims to protect, promote and support breastfeeding;

foster lactation education for health professionals; encourage research in lactation

and provide mutual support and encouragement to its members.

The SACLC seeks to enhance the health of the community by promoting breastfeeding

and providing lactation education for health professionals; and to observe any

standards of practice as published by the International Lactation Consultants Association,

and the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners Code of Ethics from time to time.
