If you are a
health
professional or in an allied health professional field working with
mothers & babies to support breast feeding please consider
attendance at our education sessions to hear a variety of presentations
on the latest research & clinical practice to challenge and
enhance your work practices.
Discounts to education sessions are offered to members of the SACLC.
Our membership includes midwives, GP's, Obstetricians, Child & Youth Health Nurses, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians & Physiotherapists.
Full membership including committee positions are open to International Board Certified Lactation Consultants.

Annual Grant for 2009
An annual grant of up to
$1000 is offered to any project or research that promotes or supports
breast-feeding in SA. A review sub committee is appointed by the SACLC,
which reviews each application. Conditions do apply.

Scholarship to sit Lactation Consultants Examination 2008
We will repay the Early bird fee to a Recertifying and a Newly Certifying Lactation Consultant, upon successful examination results. To apply please send application to the Secretary by March 31st. Applicants need to be members of the College.
